WAYFINDING HUB

Wayfinding is a crucial element in this mixed-use building project. The site contains housing, parking, a transit site, and retail, making it important to clearly direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic through signage and architectural features.

VIBRANT VIBES

This project will be a lively hub for the community, featuring an updated transit hub with retail, an interior waiting area, and bike storage. The community has a strong art and music scene, with many festivals hosted each year and an extensive public art program with sculptures along N. Barstow and N. Farwell streets, adding to the cultural richness of the area.

Ecological Development

The site will utilize the transit hub to continue a network of neighborhoods, increasing walkability, vibrancy, and the quality of life. The Chippewa River State Trail is one of three state regional trails that once completed will connect nearby cities and be approximately 70 miles in length. The project seeks to create a balance between economic, social and environmental factors that provides the ability to adapt to daily changes yet maintain stability for generations.
