STEVE MILLER, AIA, LEED AP

After graduating from Iowa State University in 2007, Steve and his wife moved to Charlottesville, Virginia. After living there and working at Bushman Dreyfus Architects for nine years, Steve and his family relocated back to Iowa and settled in Iowa City.

He was drawn to the Slingshot team for a variety of reasons, including its research-focused exploratory approach and high level of community engagement. Steve is excited to bring the firm’s culture, process and philosophy to a new community by expanding Slingshot’s presence in Iowa City. As Slingshot’s Design Process Director, he helps refine the firm’s design process and workflow. Steve helps promote design quality through regular contact with teams across multiple offices in the pursuit of working better together each day.

When he’s not at work, Steve enjoys taking trips with his wife and two kids, biking, soccer and learning to weld.
