EMILY SCHRAD

With a background in administration and a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Northern Iowa, Emily Schrad serves as Slingshot’s Director of Operations. In this role, she manages the day-to-day activities of Slingshot, ensures smooth performance across the company, and encourages the Slingshot team to empower one another in their roles. Previously she served as a studio manager at a graphic design firm and an account manager at a marketing agency.

Emily joined the Slingshot team because of the people. She is fueled by the firm’s passion for creating meaningful work and the impact it makes not only on the local community but also within other communities outside of the metro and state.

When she’s not at work, Emily enjoys planning road trips, satisfying her sweet tooth, sweating at the gym, and tackling an outdoor adventure. She also spends time giving back to the community and serves as the Executive Secretary for Women’s Reciprocity Group of Des Moines and is a board member and the social media manager for The Pet Project Midwest. Emily is the proud fur mom of brother cats, Opie and Odin.
