John Snyder, AIA

After receiving his Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University in 1971, John worked with VISTA displaced families in northwestern Missouri. Afterward he worked at a variety of traditional architecture firms in Des Moines before changing gears to work in design and project delivery with a general contractor.

John was initially drawn to the diverse and dynamic work that the Slingshot team pursues. As part of that team, he enjoys bringing one-of-a-kind experiences to the clients he works with.

Outside of work, John enjoys swimming and playing golf when the weather is good. He also enjoys spending time with his two sons and wonderful wife. John is currently a board member of Goodwill of Central Iowa and On With Life, a brain injury rehabilitation center in Ankeny.
