Gabbi Wieneke, IIDA, NCIDQ

As an interior designer at Slingshot Gabbi collaborates with the rest of the team to ensure that every project has an integrated, unified design. Within the first few years of her professional career, Gabbi connected with Slingshot and worked on numerous large-scale projects before joining the team. She received her Bachelor of Arts in interior design with a minor in business communication from the University of Northern Iowa in 2014.

Gabbi describes herself as relationship driven and enjoys building relationships with Slingshot’s many clients. She enjoys that no two projects are ever going to be the same and enjoys the variety her position that Slingshot provides.

Gabbi’s work revolves around the occupant experience and how tailored design solutions are able to connect users to their designed environment. She strives to be progressive in all aspects of her work, from concept development to material selection. Gabbi marches to the beat of her own drum, and believes she is lucky to have found a company that focuses on individual passions and professional development in Slingshot.

When she’s not at work, Gabbi gains new inspiration through travel, trying a new restaurant or recipe, and refinishing furniture.
