Eddie Boyken

Eddie Boyken has joined Slingshot as an intern, helping our team create plans and models throughout various stages of the design process. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Eddie originally pursued an Art Education degree until he developed an interest in architecture and drawing the built environment. He graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and in 2020 enrolled in Kirkwood Community College to study Architectural Technology. He will graduate in May 2023 with an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences and is currently studying for the LEED AP exam.

Eddie believes the best part of working at Slingshot is that it is a local firm with an experienced team in sustainable design. When he is not in the office, Eddie enjoys spending his time gardening, playing guitar, painting and drawing.
