Riekes Office | Warehouse

Process
Pullback

The clients wanted to set a new precedent for their suburban community: Instead of attaching an office block to an existing warehouse, they wanted an integrated building featuring custom design that supported the business’s culture.

Momentum

We split the office + warehouse, slid them apart, then reconnected them with a spine wall + conference room. The wall spine connector allows employees + visitors to experience the diagram of the building as they flow through the spaces.

Impact

We seamlessly united standard metal building materials + details so the building could be built at a reasonable prefab cost. The facility also serves as a showroom for products Riekes sells. The final form is an integrated design solution that conveys the company’s innovative spirit.

Respect
  • "We continue to get numerous compliments from folks visiting our building about our building, its design + the use of industrial products we sell that were integrated into the interior design of the building. There is not anything I would change about the building, from workflow to design, to the environment for employees — it continues to be a place everyone is proud of + love bringing customers in to show it off.”
